Accommodation
L'Auberge is situated on the edge of the village Abjat-sur-Bandiat, with a magnificent view over the hills of the Périgord Vert. Small-scale in scope, with five gîtes and one chambre d'hôtes.
Our gîtes are comfortably furnished, and there is a private salted-water swimming pool with sunbeds. Each gîte has it own barbecue, a picnic table and a private terrace/patio with a sitting area. There are two restaurants, a pub and a bakery in Abjat, on walking distance.

Sightseeing
Abjat-sur-Bandiat is situated in the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin, approximately 10 kilometers from the lovely village Nontron.
In the direct surroundings of our village you could visit various interesting places:
- the prehistorical cave of Villars
- Brantôme (the Abbey, mediëval streets)
- Saint Jean de Cole
- Piegut-Pluviers (weekly market)

There are also beautiful lakes and various places for sporting activities. Tracks for hiking and biking are nearby, including the hiking track GR4 (from Grasse to Royan).

The beautiful city of Perigueux is on driving distance, as well as the castles of Hautefort, Bourdeilles and Jumilhac.
Leisure
Because l'Auberge is situated in the Parc Naturel Régional Périgord Limousin. In the direct neighbourhood there are many possibilities for a cycling or walking tour. The network of marked paths has a length of more than 2,000 kilometers. Cycling enthusiasts can make free use of our mountain bikes.

Furthermore, there are several lakes with beaches (Saint Estèphe, Saint Saud, Saint Mathieu). Ideal for a day trip with the children.
On only 7 kilometers distance from the Auberge is "Plan d'eau de Nouailles". It is a beautiful lake for fishing or using the pedalos for rent. There is also a tree climbing park for young and old, with a zip wire across the lake.
